FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE …

Network 1 Offers Hotspot at O'Fallon City Hall Parking Lot

May 16, 2008: O'FALLON, Mo. --- Network 1 Communications announced it is providing a free wireless hotspot at the O'Fallon Municipal Centre's parking lot, located at 100 N. Main St. in O'Fallon.

The hotspot, which allows free public access to the Internet, was created as a way to show residents and visitors the fast and reliable characteristics of O'Fallon's citywide wireless network, powered by Network 1.

"Our subscribers enjoy having wireless broadband Internet access at affordable rates," said Mark O'Neal, vice president of business development for Network 1. "Having a hotspot open to the public in O'Fallon will give people a chance to see how dependable and convenient our network is."

"Our citywide wireless network is more versatile than ordinary Internet service because it allows residents to access the Internet at home, in the park, at the grocery story or anywhere they go in the city for one low monthly fee. Our growing subscriber base is proof of the strong demand for this affordable, wireless service," he said.

The free hotspot will be available only when users are located outside city hall and within the boundaries of its parking lot. Those interested in extending the Internet service citywide at their home or business will need to contact Network 1 Communications and register.

Subscribers will be able to choose one of three options, all based on connectivity speed and ranging in price from $19.95 to $49.95 per month. Residents can call Network 1's customer service hotline at 636-614-1364 or log onto www.network1communications.com for more information.

The city of O'Fallon was the first city in the country to set up a citywide, subscriber-based wireless network through Network 1. Since then, the company has met with other municipalities to install similar wireless networks, including the cities of Cottleville, Florissant, St. Paul, Dardenne Prairie, Kirkwood, Clayton and Crestwood. The company is currently in negotiations with other municipalities in the Greater St. Louis region and is committed to launching the largest municipal wireless network in the country.

Network 1's mission is to provide residents and visitors the ability to access the Internet from any home, business or public area at affordable rates. For more information on Network 1, call O'Neal at 636-614-1364 or visit the company online at www.network1communications.com.
